The Cleaning Book Clean til' it gleams

Outside of your home: The siding

Outside - The siding

If you have the time and want to save some money, a bucket of soapy water and a rag can be used to clean the outside of your home.  It will take you a few hours, but you can wash down the outside of your home just as you would your car.

Using a little bleach, vinegar or ammonia (NOT all three at the same time) added to your soapy water, you can tackle bird ‘doo doo’, fly ‘droppings’ and critter ‘stuff’ that has been left behind on your siding or on your sidewalk. Be sure to rinse your siding well after washing it down.
