The Bathroom: Odors

The bathroom - Odors

The bathroom can be a bad place to be when odors are running rampant. To kill odors in the bathroom all the time, your first line of defense if going to be to turn on that exhaust fan, often! You also can keep a spray of your favorite scent on the back of the toilet. Have your got a bad smell? Spray a little and get rid of it!

You can keep your bathroom smelling good by using scented soaps in the hand dispenser. Every time someone washers their hands, the scent is in the air. You can also use scented soaps hung in the shower to help deodorize the entire bathroom. You can keep scented soap shavings in a basket or on shelving in the bathroom so; the scent is always fresh in the bathroom.

There are many types of deodorizers that you can use in the bathroom to get rid of odors that are overwhelming. There are types that you simply open and sit on the counter. You can also buy the plug in deodorizers that will spread great scents in the bathroom when you press a button or all the time while it is plugged in. Check out your local retailer if your bathroom really has an odor problem.

Sometimes if you are having real odors in the bathroom, it could be caused by leaking water from the toilet or the sink.  When things are leaking in the bathroom, the sub flooring could get wet and start molding or growing bacteria or just plain rotting. If you have an odor that you just cannot cure, you might want to look in this direction.

The smaller your bathroom the more it is going to look over crowded. Try using baskets and containers to keep your personal hygiene items in and store them below the sink for a more organized and bigger bathroom look.
