Living room: Blankets and pillows

Living room –Blankets and pillows

In the living room, blankets and pillows are items that are used daily when you are relaxing, watching television or even when you are sick or entertaining. Blankets and pillows in the living room have their own spaces and put into your décor will look lovely.

Pillows that match your furniture can be kept right on your furniture. During your morning cleaning or when you are waiting for the children to get ready for school, you can put the pillows back into the corners of the couch so they are all straightened up and nice looking.

You can have a number of pillows that will look great and brighten your décor if you are matching the colors to something in the room. Some sofas that are up against the wall can be decorated with pillows, even ten of them – to make the sofa more inviting and soft looking.

Blankets should be folded each morning when you are preparing yourself for the day. Folding blankets and putting them draped over the back of the couch or sofa is a great storage place. You can keep chests or blanket boxes in the living room if you have a large number of blankets that are used in the living room. The blanket box is where the blankets will be put each night. The blanket box could double as a bench or a footstool in some homes.

To keep your house gleaming clean all the time you have to be one step ahead of the dirt and the mess. Putting blankets away, every morning or every night is going to make such a difference with a clean looking and organized home. You may have to keep reminding the children or your spouse to put their stuff away, but after a while it will become habit and no big deal to put stuff away!
