In every home, we all have to deal with the garbage can. There are many types of garbage cans, some that will match your home décor, some that will hold lots, and some garbage cans fit under the kitchen sink for hiding it all away.

To keep smells down in your home, having a lid on the garbage can will hold in smells. Cleaning your garbage can at least once a month is going to keep smells down, and taking out the garbage is it gets full will also keep the smells down that can invade your home. If you have a garbage disposal, using it instead of putting food in the garbage will keep odors under control.

Cleaning your garbage with bleach, scrubbing comet or vinegar will keep bacteria away. Don’t forget about cleaning the outside of your garbage can once in a while to keep it looking good too!
