Cleaning your counters with the proper ingredients is important so refer back to your manufacture suggestions before using anything on the counter that might be harmful. For most all plastic laminate counters you can use bleach or soap and water. Scratchy pads can be used lightly and soft soaps can be used with mild abrasions will take off stains. Cut grease with a grease cutter, vinegar, ammonia, or baking soda solution. After you have clean your counters, thoroughly you can wipe them down with just hot water and you have nice gleaming fresh counters! For wood, ceramic and tile or marble counters you will have to use various types of cleaners that are non abrasive, so your ‘tops’ are not left with scratches. When you are cleaning in the kitchen, you can keep your kitchen cleaner by not wiping crumbs from the counter onto the floor. Sweep crumbs into your hand and then you can put them in the garbage can.
