Finding coupons - save

You can find many coupons online, without having to get the Sunday paper, or sign up for newsletters to find coupons for your favorite brands. What you can do is type in the name brand of the cleaner that you like most, visit their website and who knows, coupons are known to be listed on brand name sites all the time!.

Thrift stores, discount stores, and the largest retailer stores is where you will find the best prices on most all of your cleaning supplies. Avoid purchasing your cleaning supplies at convenience stores (you know the ones that are open 24 hours a day) as these are the stores where the items are going to cost the most.

My cupboard is in my laundry room.  Besides cleaners, I keep extra rolls of paper towels, scrubbies, and rags because I always seem to ‘run out’ in the middle of cleaning something!

Because I have a home that is rather large, and I don’t like to have to run up and down the stairs I keep a bucket with the necessities in it. You can create your own little cleaning kit to keep you on the go, cleaning in you home. You can make it a box, a bucket, or even a bag that you can carry from room to room if you like.

In your cleaning kit, the basic ingredients of a good clean are: the antibacterial spray (that you can use in the bathroom, in the kitchen, or cleaning spots off of walls), rags or paper towels, polish for your wood or floors to get those corners dusted quickly, and possibly air freshener for the rooms you walk through but don’t have the time to clean at the moment.

While every person’s idea of a cleaning kit is different, you get the basic idea here.  Your cleaning kit might include dusters, gloves, micro fiber clothes, and throwaway cleaners whatever the items are that you use most often in cleaning in your house no matter what room you are in.

One tip to remember when you are at the store and purchasing cleaners, if you don’t like the scent, don’t purchase the cleaner. All of us are victims of buying cleaning products that we just can’t stand and we won’t use because of the smell. Open the lid, take a whiff, if you don’t like it don’t buy it because you won’t end up using it.

Well, now that you have a cupboard full of your favorite cleaners, let’s get started with overhauling your house. Remember, once you overhaul your house, cleaning from top to bottom and inside and out, you can spot clean and spend less time cleaning and still have a great clean gleaming house!
